I am a award winning British Indian audio producer and journalist from London who has produced programmes on music, art, mental health, and politics.
I love audio because more so than any other medium it has the power to immerse you in novel worlds, stories and ideas - giving you a felt sense of how others think and feel.
As an alumni of the APA award-winning Multitrack scheme, I have been lucky enough to work with some of the UK’s leading production companies — including Somethin’ Else, Reduced Listening and Vespucci amongst others. I was recently awarded a fellowship by the Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity Industry Fellowship to research how the audio industry can be more inclusive for the neuro-diverse.
Alongside my work in audio storytelling, I'm an enthusiastic collector and sharer of music.
I spent several years working behind the counter at Honest Jons Records in West London, and was a feature writer for online music magazine Stamp the Wax.
I currently run a monthly event called Mind Dance where friend and I book upcoming artists to perform live. All the proceeds of the event go to the mental health charity Mind.
I also host my own music radio show called 'Celestial Grub' on Voices Radio where each week I select a different theme to explore, whether that be psychedelic country music or modern film scores.
When I'm not doing the above, I'm usually reading, writing, going to the cinema and seeing live music.
